Budjet Meeting is Held on 21.07.2024 at The Madurai Union Club. The meeting commenced with the adorning of the collar by Rtn. PP. Mohamed Nazar. Dignitaries including the President, Secretary, and Chief Guest Rtn. D. Vignesh Kumar were invited. The President called the meeting to order, followed by the National Anthem. Rotary Grace and Rotary 4 Way Test were presented by Rtn. Ar. Nagarajan R. The President delivered the welcome address and provided Rotary information. Brief presentations by Rtn. Muhil Ganesan and Rtn. Ar. Nagarajan, each lasting 3 minutes. Introduc􀆟on of the speaker by Rtn. Muhil Ganesan. Keynote address on budget maters by Rtn. D. Vignesh Kumar, Treasurer of RCMNW. Discussion included budget proposals, allocations, and future financial plans. Sun Shine Box Collection was conducted by Rtn. Ravi@ Subramanian. A Lucky Tip session was led by the Chief Guest. Pleasantries were exchanged by the Chief Guest Rtn. Pp. PHF. Manohar S. Announcements were made by the Secretary. Vote of thanks was delivered by the Secretary. 3. Presentation : Dr. Satish Kumar provided an insighful presentation on organ donation, emphasizing its critical role in saving lives. He discussed medical, ethical, and societal perspectives and encouraged attendees to consider organ donation.

4. Presentation : Rtn. Gnanaguhan explained the rules and regulations governing the Rotaract Club, detailing member responsibilities and expectations. He highlighted how adherence to these guidelines strengthens club activities and impact.

“VAAGAI KOODAL” The District Membership Seminar Organized by Rotary Club of Perambalur Kings. Rotary Club of Madurai North West is Participated in this Meeting on 11th August 2024 at Rajeswari Chinnamani Mahal, National Highway, Perambalur.

The 78th Independence Day of the Nation was celebrated by Rotary Club of Madurai North West in a grand manner at Rotary Laharry Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Madurai. Our President Rtn.C.Ganapathy was the Chief Guest for the function and our new member Rtn.G.Muhil was Guest of Honour and it was a family meet. The National Flag was hoisted by the President after the march past by the school students. Our President and Rtn.Muhil gave an inspiring speech to the school students. The function was attended by the school Correspondent Rtn.Farsana Sirajudeen, Treasurer Rtn.Kowsalya, Counsellor Rtn.Vijayalakshmi Ramalingam and Principal Sridevi and our Past Presidents, Members and Annes. Our club distributed sweet to the students and the performance of the school students was excellent and all the credit goes to the staff of the school also and the Model Parliament Programme conducted by the school students was of high standard and informative. The young students gave excellent dance performance and all the participants were presented with medals and certificates and the programme was excellent, inspite of previous days’ heavy rains.

New Member Orientation Meeting was held on 18.08.2024 at Union Club, Madurai and President C.Ganapathy chaired the meeting and Rtn.P.P./RC Muruganandapandy of Rotary Club of Tirunagar was the Chief Guest and he gave his experience in the Rotary Movement and motivated the New Members.
Birth Day Celebration was held for Rtn.PP.PL.Alagappan, Rtn.Ramraj, Rtn.P.Rajesh and Rtn.PP.Baskarachelizan and our club members attended the meeting in a huge number and two new members were also inducted Mr.Megarajan and Mr.Loganathan and Secretary Rtn.S.Soundarajan gave vote of thanks.

      The Regular Weekly Meeting of our Club was held on 01.09.2024 at the office of Sri Muthumathi Builders Private Limited, Madurai. The Chief Guest for the meeting was Mr.Mathan Vibranarayanan and he gave an excellent speech on “Go Digital OR Go Home” and explained the importance of Digitalisation for the present World. Our President Rtn.C.Ganapathy chaired the meeting and our members participated actively and gathered very useful information and there was Birth Celebration of our members and our Secretary Soundarajan gave Vote of thanks.

The signature project of Rotary Club of Madurai North West was held on 04.09.2024 at Armed Reserve Grounds, Reserve Line, Madurai. The Event was inaugurated by District Governor Rtn.R.Raja Govindasamy at 7.30 A.M. and the inaugural function was grand one chaired by President Rtn.C.Ganapathy. This year project Chairman was Rtn.Dr.R.M.Sathish Kumar and he took keen interest-in the event and the Rtn.PP.K.Baskar was the Co-ordinator and he did his job in an excellent manner as usual and but for him the event would not had been so excellent

.
The Olympic Torch was lit by the District Governor Rtn.Raja Govindasamy and there was March past and Band by the students and the event is Rotary District 3000 event too. The Chief Guest gave an excellent inaugural speech and Assistant Governor Rtn.PP.Arul Shankar also participated.

In total 1620 students participated from 60 schools and the Total Athletic events were 58 numbers and 320 Medals and Certificates were distributed to the Winners and the Sponsors played big role for the success of the event and our Rotarians played a big part, inspite of very hot temperature the event was a huge success..

The Weekly Meeting of Rotary Club of Madurai North West was held at Union Club of Madurai on 15th September 2024. It was indirectly a “Classification Talk” by our Members. In the meeting all the members participated actively and the meeting was chaired by Rtn.President C.Ganapathy. Rtn.PP.Sankaranarayanan spoke about investment in Bank and Mutual Funds. Rtn.PP.Thilagar, Rtn.PP.Nazar, Rtn.PP.Badri, Rtn.PP.Palanivel and Rtn.PP.S.Manohar gave their experiences. New members Rtn.Muhil Ganesan,Rtn.K.K.Ramakrishnan and President Elect Venkatachalapathy gave their experiences and Rtn.Secretary Soundarajan gave vote of thanks.

    The Scarcity of Leadership is the main issue of current scenario. Rotary International is much concern about it & that is the reason why we have the system of Rotary Youth Leadership Award. Under the able Leadership & Guidelines of our Dist Covernor Prof. Rtn. Raja Govindassamy an effective & Efficient training was given to youth at Kodaikanal.

RI Dist 3000, District Youth Service Seminar @Emerald Palace, Trichy on 21st September 2024. Our club 10 Members Participated.

Vision 2030 Membership Correlate was held at Ida Scudder Auditorium, Madurai on 25th September 2024 at 5:00 pm and the Participants to meet the World Leader Rtn.Mario Cesar Martins de Camargo – RI President 2025-2026 assembled from Rotary Districts 2981, 2982, 3000, 3212 and 3231 and there were about 2000 Rotarians and group photos were taken with the RI President Elect. The Convenor for the Conclave was Rtn.A.K.S.M Muruganandam and almost 20 Members Participated under the Presidentship of Rtn.Ganapathy from Rotary Club of Madurai North west and Past Rotary International Directors and Governors Participated in the Conclave and the Rotary International Director Elect Stressed on increasing the Membership in Rotary and Retention.

Teachers Day Programme of our Club was held on 29th September 2024 at Seethadevi Subramaniam Mahal, Krishnapuram Colony, Madurai and it was a Gala Function and almost Hundred Rotarians, Anns, Annets and Guests attended the function and it was a Family Get-together and five teachers were honoured from our club.

The Installation of Rotaract club of Arulanandar College was held on 07.10.2024 and the Chief Guest for the Installation was our President Rtn.C.Ganapathy and Guest of Honour was our Secretary Rtn.S.Soundarajan, Rotaractor M.Navin Kumar was Installed as President for the year 2024-2025 and Rotaractor V.Harini as Secretary and the meeting was attended by our Rotarians PP.T.Thilagar, Rtn.PP.Gnana Guhan, Rtn.PP.Arul Shankaran, Rtn.DG.Sathish Kumar, Rtn.PP.Baskar, Rtn.PP.Yagnesh Bhat, Rtn.Venkatachalapathy, Rtn.Shivakumar and the function was attended by large number of Rotaractors.

A Family Get Together was held on 13.10.2024 and all our Rotarian, Anns and Annets enjoyed the movie of Super Star Rajinikanth – “Vettaiyan”. Two Tickets was Sponsored to each member by our Club. The Movie was at Cini Priya Theatre – Madurai and it was attended by around 150 Rotarians, Anns and Annets.

District Foundation Seminar held at AKNK Palace, Madurai on 10th Nov 2024. From Our club 20 members participated. And Honouring Legacy of Loyalty – 25 years membership rotary members were honoured.

Annual General Body Meeting and Meeting to Legacy of Loyalty to honour members who have completed 25 years Rotary Service was held at Madurai Union Club, on 10th November 2024 and the meeting was chaired by President C.Ganapathy and the President and the office yearers for the year 2025-2026 was announced in the meeting Rtn.Venkatachalapathy Dream President for the year 2025-2026 gave acceptance speech and introduced histeam and Birthday of Rotarians was celebrated by cake cutting and Rtn.Secretary Soundararajan rendered Vote of Thanks and all the Service Rotarians were recognized.

Dream AGLS – 1 was held at Ocean Spray Resorts, Pondicherry on November 6 to 8.2024. All Regional co-ordinators and Asst Governors Participated in the meet and Rotary learning Institute (Part 1 and 2) was also conducted under RLI Trainers headed by Rtn.PDG.George Soundaraj, Rtn.PDG.Asoka and other trainers, Rtn.J.Karthik – District Governor 2025-2026 and Rtn.PDG.P.Gopalakrishnan, Rtn.PDG.S.Muthu Palaniappan Participated.

Our north west members were invited to the marriage family function of our Past President Rtn.V.Palanivel at MAVMM Mahal on November 17th 2024. It was a grand Occasion, with the family honouring the event by including north west members and making them an integral part of the celebration.

The Weekly Meeting of Rotary Club of Madurai North West was held at Union Club of Madurai on 24th November 2024. Chief Guests was Rtn.Dr.Vijay Ganesh and Rtn.Dr.Uwaraja with moderator our club member Rtn.Dr.R.M.Sathish Kumar on topic of “உயிர் காக்கும் மருத்துவம்.”

The meeting was based on Basic Life Support. In an emergency situation Do’s and Don’t were explained practically by Dr.Uwaraja, choking road traffic accident, Falls in bathroom were discussed didactically. Dr.Vijay ganesh explained about plastic and Acethetic surgery and took questions from members. At the end of programme take away points were given by Moderetor Dr.R.M.Sathish Kumar. Before concluding the meeting we had a surprise visit from DG. Rtn.Raja Govindasamy and requested members to actively participate in endowment collection in the name of PDG.Rtn.Dr.Ravindranath.

Our club regular weekly meeting held on 1st december 2024, 9:50 am at the madurai Union Club. The Chief Guest for the meeting was Dr.N.kalaivanan and he gave wonderful speech on “உயிரெல்லாம் உயர்வே”and explained the importance of Wildlife Surgeon.

Our Club President Rtn.Ganapathy chaired the meeting and our members participated actively and gathered very useful information. Chief Guest introduce by our past president Rtn.Nazar mohamed. Our club Bulletin released by Chief Guest. Totally 30 Members participated.

The Regular Weekly Meeting of our club was held on 08.12.2024 at The Madurai Union Club. The Chief Guest for the meeting was Mr.Sugumaran and he gave an excellent speech on “சில நேரங்களில் சில மனிதர்கள்” and gave important tips. 

Elect President Rtn.Venkatachalapathy chaired the meeting and our members participated actively and gathered very useful information. Total 22 Members participated. Our Past President Rtn.Nazar Mohamed gave valuable Vote of thanks.

The Family Tour of RCNW was to Chillberg Resort Bodimettu this year. Around 25 rotarians participated in the family tour. The tour started with members assembling promptly for transport by van which had been arranged by Tour Chairman Rtn Anbudan Badri. The breakfast had been arranged with Rotary club of Theni which had sampling plantation also.

After breakfast the tour continued to bodimettu. After checking into the hotel rooms lunch was completed in the resort. The members were treated to exclusive play session by Rtn Muhil where ice breaking and fun happened. All members were given gifts from the board for winning the plays. Dinner was completed which was followed by camp fire and dance. The weather was excellent for fun and fellowship which overflowed in plenty.

The sunrise was a pleasant view to watch from the room. The members took an early morning walk for a tea. After tasty breakfast, members went onwards towards an off road adventure to Kollukumalai-the highest tea plantation in Asia. After back breaking travel back to resort members thanked the resort owner who also is a rotarian Mr. Chellamani and started towards Theni. Lunch was arranged in a scenic nature place in the outskirts of Theni by Rotary member After excellent lunch and memoirs handed to all members by president and secretary started.

The vocational visit of Rotary Club of Madurai North West took place on 15th December, 2024 at Zymmechanix Fitness Studio. The fitness studio is owned by Rtn Dr.R.M.Sathish Kumar and Ann Er. B.R.Archana Lakshmi. Around 70 rotarians and Anns attended the meeting. The tour of fitness studio was done first where members tried hands on exercises in the state of art equipments at the studio. The importance of exercises/physical activity was reinforced by the trainers there who explained the benefits of training under supervision. Sumptuous breakfast had been arranged which the members enjoyed throughly. The vocational visit was made more interesting with a cancer awareness programme conducted in the Zymmechanix premises. We had Dr. Hemalatha, Dr. Deepak Chandra sekaran, Dr. Murali Kannan, Dr. Crystal Suji who delivered talks on cancer awareness and various preventive and treatment advances were explained in detail. They took time to clarify the doubts members had and over all the vocational visit was ground breaking and thought provoking towards the rotarians fitness and health.

meeting and our members participated actively and gathered very useful information. Our Club News Letter released by Chief Guest and received by Rtn. Dr. Meikandan. Total 28 members participated. Secretary gave vote of thanks.

he New Year celebrations at Sri Muthumathi Builders held on December 29th, the event brought together of 120
enthusiastic peoples who arrived with joy and
excitement. The evening began at 6:30 PM with a warm welcome drink coffee accompanied by delicious snacks.

A heartfelt appreciation to Muhil Ganeshan followed by Karthikeyan Ganapathy and Guhan Ganapathy, the sons of our President, Rtn. Ganapathy. Their enthusiasm and involvement made the entire crew filled with excitement and laughter.

The event was packed with entertaining activities that catered to all age groups. Kids had a fantastic time with games designed for their age group, while adults participated with great enthusiasm and energy. Even the elderly people are engaged in games like ring ball and other fun activities.

The dance performances were a major highlight of the evening. Rotarians, Rotary Anns and Annets were very much involved As a token of appreciation, gifts were distributed to all participants who won in the fun activities, lucky draw, ring ball, and other exciting games. A heartfelt thank you to all sponsers …… who made this event a grand success. Here’s to many more wonderful

Members, Past Presidents and Anns gathering sharp 8:30 am. President Elect Rtn.Venkatachalapathy and Secretary Rtn.Soundararajan guided the Meeting. Finally around 24 rotarians and Anns attended the meeting.

நிகழ்வின் துவக்கமாக சங்க தலைவர் Rtn.கணபதி, தனது சிறப்பான உரையுடன் விருந்தினர்களையும், விழாவில் கலந்து கொண்ட நல் இதயங்களையும் வரவேற்று விழாவினை உற்சாகத்தோடு துவக்கி வைத்தார். அதனைத் தொடர்ந்து நமது உறுப்பினர் Rtn.கோபால கிருஷ்ணன் அவர்கள் நகைச்சுவையும், சீரிய கருத்தும் ததும்புகின்ற அருமையான தமிழ்க்கவிதையின் மூலம் அரங்கினை அதிரச் செய்ததோடு முழு நிகழ்வினையும் தனது அருமையான தமிழ்க்குரலினால் தொகுத்து வழங்கினார்.

தலைமை விருந்தினர் Rtn.பழனிக்குமார் அருமையான தனது தலைமை உரையினால் இருபது நிமிடங்கள் அரங்கினைக் கட்டிப்போட்டார். மனது மற்றும் உடல் ஆரோக்கியம் குறித்து அவர் வழங்கிய சொற்பொழிவு அனைவரின் அறிவுப்பசிக்கு விருந்தானதோடு ஆரோக்கியத்திற்கும் வழிகாட்டியது. Rtn.PP.நளினி ரவீந்தரநாத் தமது அருமையான குரலில், சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் Dr.ஸ்ரீலதா அவர்களை அரங்கிற்கு அறிமுகம் செய்து வைத்தார். சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் Dr.ஸ்ரீலதா தோப்பூர் மருத்துவமனை குறித்த தகவல்களோடு தந்த உரை பாராட்டத்தக்க வகையில் இருந்ததோடு இது போன்ற நல்ல பணிகளை நாம் தொடரவேண்டும் என்ற உத்வேகம் தருவதாகவும் இருந்தது. மருத்துவமனையின் ஊழியர் திரு.பிளிப் ஜெயசீலன் அவர்கள் தோப்பூர் அரசு மருத்துவமனை குறித்து
அவரே இயற்றிய பாடலை பாடி அனைவரையும் மகிழவைத்தார்.

மருத்துவமனையில் பதினைந்து ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக பணியாற்றி வரும் செவிலியர்களுக்கும், ஊழியர்களுக்கும் நினைவுப் பரிசுவழங்கி சிறப்பு செய்யப்பட்டது. மருத்துவமனையில் தங்கி சிகிச்சை பெறும் நண்பர்கள், தமது ஓய்வு நேரத்தினை பயனுள்ள வகையில் கழிக்கும்படி அவர்களுக்கு கைவினைப்பொருட்கள் செய்யும் பயிற்சியானது திருமதி.சர்மிளா அவர்களால் வழங்கப்பட்டது.

இயற்கை எழில் கொஞ்சும் மருத்துவமனை வளாகத்தினை இன்னும் பசுமையாக்க நமது சங்கத்தின் சார்பாக, மருத்துவமனை வளாகத்திற்குள் 16 மரக்கன்றுகள் நடப்பட்டது. மேலும், மருத்துவமனை வளாகத்தில் நமது சங்கத்தின் சார்பாக ரூ.2 லட்சம் செலவில் ஒரு செப்டிக் டேங்க் கட்டித்தர முடிவு செய்யப்பட்டு, அதற்கான அடிக்கல் நாட்டு விழா இனிதே நடைபெற்றது.

நமது சங்க இதழை சிறப்பு விருந்தினர் வெளியிட்டார்கள். நன்றியுரை செயலாளர் Rtn.சௌந்தரராஜன் வழங்கினார். நமது சங்க குடும்பத்தினர், மருத்துவர்கள், மருத்துவமனை ஊழியர்கள் அனைவரும் கலந்து கொண்ட அருமையான ஒரு மதிய உணவோடு விழா இனிதே நிறைவுற்றது.

Our Club 76th Republic Day Celebration was held on 26th January 2025 at 7.30 am at Madurai, Shenoy Nagar, Kumar’s Ceramics, which is run by our Past President Rtn. Palanivel.

And followed by Vocational Visit at Kumar’s Ceramic. The meeting was hosted by our Past President Rtn.Palanivel and he explained the new arrival and moderate Kitchen need today’s world. Around above 25 members participated, and Secretary Soundarajan gave vote of thanks.

Our President Rtn.C.Ganapathy chaired the meeting and our members participated actively and gathered very useful information. Our Club News Letter released by Chief Guest Rtn. Nicholas and there was Birthday Celebration of our members. Our Secretary Rtn. Soundarajan gave Vote of thanks. Total 30 members participated.

The Vaagai Paramount Dt.3000 Conference was an absolute delight! Our club made history by achieving the maximum participation, making it a truly proud moment for us. The conference was a master class in impeccable organization, with every detail meticulously crafted to perfection.

The erudite speakers regaled us with their wisdom, while the sumptuous cuisine tantalized our taste buds. The stage arrangementswere a visual feast, with seamless audio-visual transitions that elevated the entire experience.

Nikki’s flawless presentation and adept microphone handling ensured a smooth, timely progression of events, expertly assisted byAbi Valliappan. The evening entertainment, though delightful, left a hint of room for improvement. The stalls, however, were a brilliant concept, adding a vibrant splash of color and community spirit to the gathering. Last but not least, I’m thrilled that our Madurai All Clubs of “Madurai Rotary” Directory were released during the conference, showcasing our club’s achievements and member profiles.

Our heartfelt congratulations to the tireless organizing team, with special accolades to Vice Chairman Rtn. Palanivel for his visionary leadership.

Kudos to our North West club for their outstanding registration efforts, and to all participating clubs for their remarkable teamwork and dedication.

Governor, thank you for gifting us two unforgettable days of unbridled laughter, learning, and connection. Your gracious presence was the crowning jewel of this resplendent conference.

The Weekly meeting was held as Vocational visit at Surya’s Metal Art which is run by our member Rtn. P.Senthil Kumar.
